Welcome to our new name and web site. Our name is now Wigren~Barlow Art & Antiques, reflecting our offering of art by both deceased and contemporary artists, as well as our continued focus on a wide range of interesting antiques.
If you have been in the shop in the last several months, you would have heard about our new web site. Our principal goals were making it very customer friendly and easily updated to reflect new items introduced to the shop. As you can see, the site has six main categories, each with a number of subcategories.
Since Wigren & Barlow was established over half a century ago, we thought you might be interested in the short version of the history of that business and the original owners, Jack Barlow and Charlie Wigren, which you can read on the “Home Page.”
The “About Page” tells of our mission and offerings, and our perspective on Woodstock, Vermont, frequently cited as one of the most picturesque villages in New England. Woodstock has changed over the years but in many respects looks very much like it did in the middle of the 19th Century. We are proud to be a part of this diverse and interesting community.
Our “Contact Page” provides you an opportunity to easily send us inquiries. We welcome your “wish list” and are always on the lookout for pieces customers have expressed an interest in.
This is our first introduction to a “Blog” and social networking. Our plan at Wigren~Barlow Art & Antiques is to provide interesting and helpful information about art and antiques.
